The Test

“If I love you, I will need you, but I cannot trust you to stay. I will provoke you, blame you, and try to drive you away. So when you leave, I will know I was right all along.”

I feel this is what you are saying to me. I feel that you are presenting me with this test with a belief from the beginning that I will fail. Well I have something to say to you. You are lovable. I love you. Even when you try to drive me away I still love you and I still stay because I love you. The only problem is that I can only take so much. I've stayed this long. Let this be proof enough. I do love you so stop pushing me away and stop closing me out. Let the test be finished.

Reclaiming my muchness

This blog post has been stewing in my brain for quite some time lately. Now that doesn't mean that it will blow your mind or have any literary value, but at least it's better than a line or two and a music video. Well... at least I hope it is.
