Tan Lines
Ahh. Summer has finally arrived in bipolar Utah and with Summer come the inevitability of tan lines. I don't really get people who obsess over having no tan lines. I mean I can understand if they're as defined as those above, but otherwise it just shows that you do something other than lie naked in a skin cancer bed. I love my tan lines. Being a lifeguard they tend to be fairly noticeable. My favorite guard tan line is my flip flop line. Even with my shoes off it still looks like I've got thick flip flop straps across my feet. I'm also a big fan of the whistle tan line across the back of my neck. I don't know why, but it just makes me happy. Another guard tan line that is Scera Pool specific and only applies to the female guards are the little half-moons found on the hips. The approved swim suit for female guards is very high cut and come right to the base of the hip bone. In addition to the high cut suit, females also have the option of wearing the short provided by the facility. However, for some unexplainable reason, the city of Orem thinks that females have huge hips and unproportionately skinny thighs. So in order to fit your thighs into a pair of shorts one must get a few sizes too big. As a result of these uniform attributes there is a small semi-circle exposed just below the hip bone in between the waist line of the shorts, and the bottom hem of the suit. I love these little half-moons and kinda feel sorry for those female guards who have city of Orem proportions between their hips and thighs.
Haha Lol I'm glad you like tan lines. I do to. It shows you're naturally tan and not a fake bake. I hope your excited for the summer!
