I love Sun and Jin...

JIN: I made… dinner.
SUN: I thought you had left me. Will you let me try to explain?
JIN: It won’t matter.
SUN: Just listen, maybe–
JIN: I know why you did it. I know the man… I used to be. Before this island, I withheld my affections… And I know… that whatever you did… you did to that man. His actions caused this. So I forgive you. So I will go to Locke’s camp with you.
SUN: I don’t want to go there anymore.
JIN: Why?
SUN: Juliet was very convincing. We have to get off this island. These people have a helicopter. We have to try.
JIN: I’ll do all it takes to protect you and the baby. I promise.
SUN: Thank you.
JIN: There’s just one thing. And please, the truth…
SUN: Anything.
JIN: Is… the baby… mine?
SUN: Yes, Jin. I swear the baby is yours. It’s yours. I love you so much. I thought I had lost you.
JIN: I love you too. And you will never lose me.

Reclaiming my muchness

This blog post has been stewing in my brain for quite some time lately. Now that doesn't mean that it will blow your mind or have any literary value, but at least it's better than a line or two and a music video. Well... at least I hope it is. I'll try to be as open as possible even if that leads you all to see me as a crazy, however, some things still hurt and still terrify me even though it has been over seven years. "The hardest thing you will ever do" - Parenting

Parenting.  People say it's one of the hardest jobs in the world and that raising kids is the hardest thing you will ever do.  Why is that?  What makes it so hard? First we need to understand the difference between complicated and hard.  Complicated is something like crochet or knitting. There are technical things involved and a lot of little steps.  There are special skills to learn.  However, once you get past the complications, it is very easy and doesn't take much effort. Something that is hard, doesn't have to be complicated it all.  In fact, it can be incredibly simple. Something like serving others.  It's not complicated.  You just do it!  But it can be so hard.  It's emotionally tolling at times to remember that there are others out there and it can be a sacrifice to your own physical well being.
