An endless night will turn to day


An endless night will turn to day:
The sun will be set in the heavens.

We feel the darkness won't go away:
The word is a lamp to our feet.

We need guidance on our way:
The voice will cry out in the wilderness.

We wish the light of God would stay:
We must follow and endure.

An endless night will turn to day.

Some are caught in an "endless night." We ourselves may be caught in this "endless night." To those who know others who are in this situation: 

"Arise and shine forth, that thy light may be a standard for the nations;" (Doctrine and Covenants 115:5). 

Be the light in their endless night and help them find their way.

To those who can't see the light in their prison: 

"My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment;
And then if thou endure it well God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes.
Thy friends do stand by thee, and they shall hail thee again with warm hearts and friendly hands.
Thou are not yet as Job; thy friends do not contend against thee, neither charge thee with transgression, as they did Job." (Doctrine and Covenants 121:7 - 10)

"Didn't He say that we were sent to be tested? Didn't He say the way would not be sure? But didn't He say that we could live with Him forever more, well and whole, if we endure?"  Stay strong. They day will come. You are not totally lost.

Parenting.  People say it's one of the hardest jobs in the world and that raising kids is the hardest thing you will ever do.  Why is that?  What makes it so hard? First we need to understand the difference between complicated and hard.  Complicated is something like crochet or knitting. Reclaiming my muchness

This blog post has been stewing in my brain for quite some time lately. Now that doesn't mean that it will blow your mind or have any literary value, but at least it's better than a line or two and a music video. Well... at least I hope it is.
