Serendipity
serendipity • \ser·en·dip·i·ty\ • noun • Definition: An unsought, unintended, or unexpected discovery or occurrence, made by accident and sagacity; the effect by which one accidentally discovers something fortunate, especially while looking for something else entirely.
Over the summer I was praying desperately with God to help me with a trial I was going through. I was looking for an easy answer. A simple solution that would leave my life unscathed. However while searching for this I found a different answer entirely. While it has caused some hard times, I know that I have found something fortunate even though it was the furthest thing from what I was looking for. I guess the purpose of this post is to remind us all that when we pray to God we might not get the answer we were looking for or expecting, however if we go forward with faith we will make fortunate discoveries in our lives.
