Two things that bother me about mormon culture:
(Now this is Mormon culture, not the doctrines of the church people.) Now I'm sure there are more than two things. We all have annoying habits, but these are two I was reminded of today. 1. Every speaker in Sacrament Meeting feels they need to share some funny story about how they have been trying to avoid the bishopric for the past three years and they finally got caught. Or how they looked at the caller ID and they saw the Bishop's last name and they had an internal battle about whether or not they should answer it. Or even a story about how they said something blasphemous in their last talk and they thought the word had gotten around and they would be set for life, but apparently Bishop didn't get the message so they have to speak again. It's annoying. So you hate speaking, but you do it anyway because you're a good member. Great. Now get on with your talk. 2.
