Jamba Juice Flavor - Butter Finger

So this week I forgot to pick a flavor to try so I just went up to the counter and told them that I would take any one of their "secret flavors" and the girl asked me if Butterfinger would be alright.  Well just so you know it wasn't alright.  It was disgusting.  It didn't even taste like Butterfinger.  It didn't even taste like it was trying to taste like Butterfinger.  It tasted like it was trying so very hard to be Reeses, but it tasted more like freezer burnt chocolate ice cream mixed with water and peanut butter.  It was definitely not pleasant.  I don't recommend it.  After two weeks of fails I had better get a good flavor next week.

Jamba Juice Flavor - White Gummi Bear

Weird... Very weird... It's not like it didn't taste good, because it did.  It was just weird.  Maybe I just haven't had Gummi Bears in a long time so I don't really remember, but I didn't taste the Gummi Bear at all.  The very first thing I noticed about the smoothie was the color.  It looked like a giant loogie.  After making such a disgusting observation I had to fight not to vomit as I sucked the drink down, however once I got the thought out of my head I was able to taste the flavor.  The White Gummi isn't as intense as Pink Star or Sour Patch Kid, but it still has a distinct flavor that is somewhat enjoyable.  Nevertheless despite the good flavor the after taste in rather unpleasant.  So along with the giant mucus appearance and the sour milk aftertaste I don't really like the White Gummi, especially when Pink Star is contending.  However if you're daring enough give it a try as it seems to be a favorite to a lot of other Jamba fans.

Jamba Juice Flavor - Pink Star

So this week's flavor of wonder, by request, was "Pink Star" or "Pink Starburst."  This flavor tastes exactly like it's namesake.  As I sipped the frozen treat I almost expected to feel the chewy texture of starburst to accompany the flavor.  The sugar shock wasn't as bad as last time, but after an original size I still felt a little sick.  I'll probably stick with 16 oz from now on.  Anyway this is a great flavor if you want something a little fun, and much better than the Sour Patch Kid.

Jamba Juice Flavor - Sour Patch Kid

So I had always heard that Jamba Juice had a secret menu full of wondrous secretive secret flavors, and being a huge fan of the Jamba I have been itching to get my lips around a straw that could deliver one of those exclusive flavors to my taste buds.  I finally got around to googling (I love how that's an excepted verb now) "Jamba Juice secret menu"  I found a list filled with wonder and magic.  Like a child at Christmas I eagerly read through the menu.  I couldn't wait to try them all.  That was back in February.  I'll admit I put off starting my Jamba adventure, but finally on Monday I had my first taste of secrecy.  After a family game of miniature golf (which I totally won.  My mom wouldn't let me keep score because "someone's feelings would get hurt", so I kept them in my head. Ha!) my family and I headed out for a cool refreshing Jamba Juice.  As we drove towards the fruity haven I thought back to February and the list came to mind.  Final...
